Ng.Uye^n’s L’Art Brut
can become interactive via commissioned original art at the minimum price of
$200 per order, by recommendation only.
The commissioned original art is to fit the taste and requirements of
the patron via his or her interactive interpretation, a chosen theme, and his or
her view of the world. Ng.Uyen will
take the patron’s view and what he or she wants, make suggestions as
inspired upon interactive discussion, translate it into visual poetry, and put
it into a piece of L’Art Brut. “I only do
this kind of commissioned art in order to get out of myself, to avoid the
pitfall of an eccentric vision, and to appreciate the world and its externals
via the view of others,” says the artist. If the patron does not like
or does not wish to keep the final product for whatever reasons, he or she does
not have to pay, and the artist will keep and own the commissioned piece.
